Please find below the answers to common questions about carrotfunding.io

On this page:

1. What is carrotfunding.io in a nutshell?

Carrotfunding.io is the next-generation trader funding firm built entirely on on-chain infrastructure. We provide both experienced and novice traders with access to our proprietary simulated trading environment and the opportunity to monetize their account upon successfully passing a performance-based evaluation.

2. What is a trader funding firm?

A trader funding firm provides capital to traders who demonstrate skill and consistency through a structured evaluation. Instead of risking their own funds, traders trade with firm-provided capital and share a percentage of the profits they generate.

3. What is carrotfunding.io's business model?

carrotfunding.io's business model is designed to bridge decentralized finance infrastructure with trader performance. It is structured to ensure long-term sustainability, full capital transparency, and alignment of incentives across all stakeholders.

Upon the sale of each evaluation plan, revenue is allocated as follows:

  • 50% is allocated to carrotfunding.io to support technology infrastructure, operational overhead, and platform development of proprietary systems, including the trader dashboard, trading terminal, and administrative tooling.

  • 50% is directed into an on-chain vault on rethink.finance, which serves as the vault backing funded traders' accounts and supporting traders payouts.

Once a trader successfully completes the evaluation and transitions into a Carrot Funded Trader Account, and if internal performance criteria indicate a strong probability of continued profitability, their trading activity becomes economically tied to the vault. In such cases, profits generated are distributed as follows:

  • 80% to the trader

  • 20% to the vault

carrotfunding.io acts as the fund manager of the vault and receives fees under a standard asset mangement structure, 1% management fee and 20% performance fee, both subject to a high-water mark to ensure investor protection and performance alignment.

This model creates a transparent, fully auditable capital ecosystem. All flows, evaluation fees, fund allocations, trader payouts are executed and visible on-chain, eliminating traditional counterparty risk and the opacity common to legacy proprietary trading firms.

4. Is carrotfunding.io trustworthy?

Yes, carrotfunding.io is built for trust. Unlike traditional proprietary trading firms that rely on opaque infrastructure and unverifiable promises, our protocol leverages on-chain infrastructure to ensure full transparency.

With our system, you don’t need to rely on trust — you can verify everything yourself.

5. How do I start trading?

You can check out our Getting Started section to learn more.

6. Do I need to deposit any money to get started?

No, carrotfunding.io does not require any deposits. You are never asked to deposit trading capital.

To participate, you only pay a one-time evaluation fee when purchasing an evaluation plan. This fee covers access to our simulated trading environment and contributes directly to our on-chain investment vehicle(OIV), which supports payouts and risk management.

There are no hidden fees, and you retain full control, just pay the evaluation fee and start trading.

7. Who can join carrotfunding.io?

Anyone who is 18 years or older and legally permitted to trade in their jurisdiction can join carrotfunding.io.

We welcome traders from all backgrounds, whether you're DeFi-native, coming from a centralized exchange (CEX), or just beginning your trading journey. No prior trading history is required, only the ability to demonstrate skill and discipline through our evaluation process.

8. Why should I join carrotfunding.io?

If you’re a trader looking for capital, structure, and transparency without the legacy baggage and opacity, carrotfunding.io is built for you.

9. What trading venues can I choose from?

10. What evaluation plans can I choose from?
